ABOUT PROJECT

  • Create a standout event that reimagines golf culture through a modern, lifestyle-driven lens — all while building community and generating authentic, buzzworthy content in Japan’s golf scene.

  • Limited budget. One-person team. Big scale.
    With dozens of moving parts and only myself officially working for Hypegolf Japan, I borrowed help from the Hypebeast team and lead all sponsor communications, creative direction, and social media — while also managing guest invitations and vendor negotiations solo.

    • Project Management: Oversaw the event operations team while acting as the lead from Hypegolf

    • Sponsorship & Brand Management: Worked with Hypebeast sales, handled all sponsor relationships and deliverables

    • Creative & Design Direction: Managed all visuals and creative output (flyers, content)

    • Production Management: Hired and directed the photo/video team, led content capture on event day

    • Vendor Partnerships: Secured 12 brand activations from different industries

    • Influencer Outreach: Invited and negotiated with 200 influencers and VIPs to attend

    • Social Media Management: Created the content plan, captured and edited content, posted, analyzed results, and engaged community
